Jean Piaget

Jean Piaget (1896-1980) was one of the forerunners of cognitive psychology. He examined the development of the cognitive functions in children, and gave us more insight into the world of children. Knowledge systems evolve not only through their own inherent logic, but also through a psychological process of maturation.
